I found this fabulous chart in the "Alkaline Sister' website (worthy of a look through) and found it to be one of the most specific I've found to date.

Each food item is assigned a number which reflects its approximate value of alkalinity (+) or acidity (-) in one ounce of food.

The higher the number, (+) the better it is for you to eat.

Foods showing a (-) means that they are acidic. The higher the (-) value, the more work the body has to do to buffer the acidity.
